close to all restaurants and shopping, approximately two miles from
town. For those of you that want a bit more action... you can rent a
bike or take a taxi into town. In Marsh Harbour you'll find locally
owned gift shops selling everything from Cuban Cigars to Bahamian music
and clothing. At the busy harbour side restaurants and bars you'll find locals and
tourists alike enjoying the views and the Bahamian style cooking. BUT nothing compares to the view and private swimming off SlipAway Cottage. You can relax under the tiki hut or take a swim by simply walking down ten steps to the sea. Swim out to a private reef right off the cottage and do some snorkeling or simply bring a book and lounge under the tiki hut and enjoy the beautifully landscaped garden. Rent a boat and use your private mooring and visit all the local cays for lunch... Elbow Cay and Man-O-War just a mere twenty minutes away. Great snorkeling at Fowl Cay just south of Man-O-War. Have lunch at Nipper's on Guana Cay and enjoy their beautiful beach and excellent snorkeling. Come back before sunset and enjoy the view from your porch at the cottage. |
